According to local media in the United States on January 5 that Intradeco apparel company has acquired part of the assets of Knothe apparel company. The transaction has been reached but the specific terms of the transaction have not been made public yet.
Knothe, a New York-based family business, is the professional manufacturer of male’s loungewear, and the major products are to be sold with the labels of Izod, Chaps and State O Maine, and Knothe Apparel Group has been an industry leader in the manufacturing of men's robes, pajamas for well over 100 years.
While Intradeco, a family business headquartered in Miami, is specialized in fashion products and thermal underwear series. Intradeco claims that they will operate Knothe as an independently department and the existing Knothe’s senior management personnel and marketing team will continue to be responsible for operating this part of business.
Allan Ellinger, senior managing partner of MMG, will act as the financial adviser for the transaction, he said: "For the two parties, this is a combination of strategic significance and we are pleased to bring the combinations of these two leading companies in the industry to advance the development of the industry of men's pajamas."
Terry Trofholz, Intradeco company’s executive vice president of sales said: "The joint of the two companies will bring tangible benefits to the important customers of both parties."
And Ricky Bern, Knothe company's chief operating officer said: "Our company will benefit from the vertical supply structure of Intradeco company, who has world-class operating system and financial strength."
