How to Wear Healthy Briefs during Menstrual Period ?

Some women wear tight underwear during menstrual period, for the tight underwear not only can beautify the figure, but also can avoid the side leakage. But experts warn that wearing tight brief may bury hidden trouble for health and suggest that women should wear slightly loose brief during period.

Excessively tight underwear not only affects the blood circulation, respiratory and digestive function, but also induces gynecologic diseases. Especially in the period, the excessively tight underwear leads poor blood flow. Moreover, removing the tight brief may cause sudden pressure mutation to abdominopelvic cavity, resulting in blood backset that causes waist pain and abdominal pain during menstrual period.

In addition, women’s body resistance decreases during menstrual period, excessively tight clothes may cause some bacteria breeding and invasion, resulting in the occurrence or recurrence of vulva vaginitis. Therefore, women should not wear tight briefs during period, instead, they should wear the pure cotton, good permeability, slightly loose underwear and should frequently change and wash underwear, keep it dry and hygiene.

Gynecological experts suggest that the underwear worn in menstrual period should not be worn at ordinary times, because the viscose behind the sanitary towel will affect women’s health. It just like the tape torn down from glass, paper and cloth, there is a layer of sticky glue left behind and hard to remove. The viscose in sanitary towel is also left behind and sticks to the inside briefs.

At present, most of the viscose behind the sanitary towels used by Chinese women is industrial but notthe eatable sticky glue. It is not just the criterion difference. Strictly speaking, the industrial viscose cannot be directly touch skin, especially women’s sensitive and delicate skin.

It is still not sure whether this kind of  chemical viscose is poisonous or not, and in clinical, there is not solid relevant epidemiological survey data to prove that this viscose leads to the increase of genital diseases among young women in recent year. But no matter the viscose itself may cause disease or not, without being noticed by naked eyes, the viscose sticks to underwear and may adsorb some pathogens, that cannot be removed only by washing or sun exposure.
